Payment Assist appoints Prova to drive brand growth

Leading communications consultancy Prova has been appointed by Payment Assist to drive the brand’s continued growth in the automotive industry. Offering a buy now, pay later (BNPL) service for vehicle repairs and servicing, Payment Assist works with OEMS, franchises, independent garages and workshops to spread the cost of customer bills.

As one of the fastest-growing fintech firms in the UK, Payment Assist offers interest-free, zero-fee support to clients, and is aiming to double in size over the course of the next 24 months. To support that effort, Prova has been brought on board to optimise the brand’s external communications.

Ed Willmott, managing director of Prova, commented: “It’s an exciting time for Payment Assist and we’re relishing the opportunity to drive the company’s communications strategy. Given our extensive expertise in the automotive and future mobility space, we’re confident that our work will make a real difference.”

Marcus Gregory, chief executive officer at Payment Assist, added: “We brought in Prova to help define our messaging, guide our communications strategy and lead our public relations. As we look to increase Payment Assist’s influence within the automotive servicing, maintenance, and repairs (SMR) marketplace, and strengthen our presence within the retail franchise network, Prova’s knowledge and contacts will prove hugely valuable.”

Part of the AIM-listed Manx Financial Group PLC and fully regulated by the FCA, Payment Assist serves more than 8,000 garages and dealerships across the UK.
