Warwick-based Prova PR has won the public relations and communications account for UK-based integrated retail systems provider Wanzl. With unrivalled experience in the retail supply chain sector, Prova will deliver a strategic campaign for Wanzl, providing both B2B and consumer PR for the company’s UK-based outfit.
The Wanzl brand, whose work was recently recognised at the Retail Week Interiors Awards, supplies trolleys, roll cages, shelving, displays, security and access control systems, as well as a full design, floor plan and installation service for fitting out retail and other customer-facing outlets. Wanzl has customers at most levels throughout the supply chain and operates into the majority of the major retail brands in the UK. The Prova team will be supporting Wanzl in the next phase of its growth, which will see the launch and innovation of a number of its unique products and sustainability initiatives.
Dean Rolland, managing director at Wanzl UK, commented: “We are undergoing great changes as a business over the next year, bringing together a number of strong retail and logistics brands under the Wanzl umbrella and delivering fundamental innovation in both our product and service offering. This is taking place within the context of an industry which has fundamentally shifted over the past few years in the face of environmental, social and economic pressures. In Prova, we saw a specialist PR consultancy which could support us through our growth and help us to capitalise on the opportunities which industry evolution will bring. We look forward to working with the Prova team.”
Gill Holtom, director at Prova, said: “This has been a very exciting year for Prova, as we have continued to grow our transport client portfolio across fleet, logistics, technology and motorsport. Wanzl provides a complete range of products and service to the customer-facing and retail supply chains and we look forward to delivering real commercial success for the business over the coming months.”
Prova has recently been awarded the trade and consumer public relations account for the world’s largest vehicle auction business, Manheim, as well as the B2B PR account for vehicle classifieds site Motors.co.uk. The PR consultancy is set to celebrate a decade working with pallet pooling specialist LPR and leading IT retail services provider PCMS in 2013, as well as a five year anniversary with supply chain consultancy Total Logistics.
