Award winning PR agency Prova is spreading its global wings, as it kicks off the first of a series of international work placements with a trip to Brazil.
The Warwick-based agency is waving a temporary farewell to account manager Charlotte Webster, who has been given the opportunity to spend a week in Sao Paulo at Fundamento PR. There she will get the chance to find out what the world of PR is like in Brazil, strengthen her international communication skills and build some valuable connections with the team in South America’s economic hub.
The work placement is part of a newly launched Prova initiative to encourage staff to experience working overseas. The agency, which specialises in environmental, technology and transport PR, has been acting as a central hub for international communications campaigns for more than decade and is part of GlobalCom, one of the largest PR networks in the world.
St John White, director at Prova PR, comments: “Today communications is a global industry and we regularly work with agency partners around the world to deliver campaigns for our clients. I think it’s vital that our team actually spends time overseas. You can’t beat experiencing something first hand and meeting people face-to-face. It’s exciting that we’re kicking off our exchange programme with a trip to another continent!”
Charlotte Webster, account manager at Prova PR, adds: “I cannot wait to arrive in Brazil now and get stuck into agency life at Fundamento PR. It’s an amazing opportunity and I’m delighted Prova has offered me this incredible experience.”
Fundamento PR is also a member of GlobalCom, a network of PR and marketing agencies with representation in over 70 offices across the world. Prova was invited to join the network at the start of 2015 and is also opening its doors to PR professionals from across the network as part its work placement scheme.
