VARTA, Germany’s top consumer battery manufacturer and number two in Europe, has celebrated a successful year and reiterated its ambitious plans in the UK market for 2014 by re-appointing Prova PR to handle its marketing and communications. Prova has supported the VARTA team since 2008.
VARTA, part of Spectrum Brands, is paving the way in battery innovation in a competitive market, releasing multiple new product lines and securing strong promotional listings with major UK retailers such as Robert Dyas, Argos and B&Q. Plans for 2014 include an expanded campaign, part of which will see us focusing on ensuring UK consumers and retailers become more familiar with the VARTA brand and in turn, increasing sales revenue.
