The ability to save the public sector money is pure gold in PR terms and Prova recently maximised the value offered by its client’s trial with Nottingham’s hospitals to revive old metal trolleys and bins.
Highlighting the millions of pounds the NHS could save if it revived, rather than scrapped, its metal linen trolleys, bins, patient trolleys and wheelchairs, the Prova team secured TV and radio coverage for Reviva, part of the Wanzl UK Group, across the East Midlands media.
The coverage showcased Reviva’s Tibshelf facility where metal equipment can be stripped back and restored to new through its innovative processes. By undertaking this trial, Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre and City Hospital have the ability to save costs on scrapping old items and purchasing replacement items – a positive message to those holding the public sector’s purse strings across the wider NHS.
